In the Grand Est region, forests cover one-third of the land area. Wood and forestry professionals, elected representatives, researchers, students, naturalists, citizens… Many of us share a strong attachment to forests and wood. And yet, in the face of climate change, they are revealing their fragility.

Building on the momentum of the first conference in 2021, let’s take a look at their future and reinvent it: Produce, preserve, welcome – what do we expect from forests? Are they still able to meet these expectations? What can we do collectively to help them?
