University of Lorraine
The University of Lorraine, a multidisciplinary, technological and entrepreneurial university, comprises 11 engineering schools. Ranked among the the Top 300 global universities in the Shanghai ranking, it has been designated as a Campus of Excellence. The university boasts more than 400 training courses, 17,000 degrees, 52,000 students and 3,900 teaching fellows working in 60 laboratories. All the major research and higher education institutes, such as CNRS, INSERM, INRA, INRS, and INRIA, are on-site.

Jean Lamour Institute
Jean Lamour Institute is a Materials Science research laboratory, with a focus on metallurgy, plasmas, surfaces, electronics, and nanomaterials. It is a mixed research institute of University of Lorraine and CNRS.

Artem Alliance
This is an alliance of three higher education institutions, the École nationale supérieure d’art et de design de Nancy, ICN Business School and Mines Nancy. The Campus of Excellence is spread out over 85,000 m2, with 3,500 students, 300 instructors and researchers, and 150 technical and administrative staff. With over 20 workshops, Artem offers 3,000 class-hours per year. 650 future engineers, creators and managers participate every Friday in the Artem workshops. 42 companies are gathered within Artem Entreprises. 5,000: the total number of students who have experienced the Artem workshops since they were created.

Sciences Po (Political Studies Institute)
Created in 2000, Sciences Po’s Franco-German European campus offers fundamental and multidisciplinary studies in the social sciences. It now has 350 students of 28 nationalities.
