On November 10, 2022, DESTINATION NANCY had the pleasure of hosting the first AEIM-Adapei 54 Congress at the Centre Prouvé, aimed at strengthening the integration of people with mental disabilities.
Committed on a daily basis to a more inclusive event and tourism, the DESTINATION NANCY teams worked alongside the organisers to offer the best experience to the 700 participants.
The teams working on this event, including the reception and security service providers, were made aware of this beforehand and the signage of the Prouvé Congress Center was adapted.
During the congress, members of the association with disabilities were actively involved in the event: checkroom, coffee break, catering, microphone passage, etc.
This congress was also an opportunity for all DESTINATION NANCY teams to mobilize around the month of inclusion with complementary actions: organization of adapted guided tours at the Metropolitan Tourist Office (for people with reduced mobility, in French sign language for the hearing impaired or for people with mental disabilities), participation in DuoDay (a day to welcome a person with a disability to the company), creation of adapted materials, etc.
