In France, over 10 million people are affected by poverty.
Successive crises have hit not only the most vulnerable, but also a large proportion of the population, who are finding it increasingly difficult to access housing, healthcare and public services.
Faced with the steady worsening of precariousness and the rise of all kinds of insecurity (food, health, economic, social, psychological, etc.), the human and support professions are the last line of defence against the slide into extreme poverty.
As a long-standing supporter of social workers, professionals, volunteers and people in need of support, the Fédération des acteurs de la solidarité has included a focus on social work in its 2022-2027 federal project, reminding us that social work is not only the basis of our action, but also what gives it its full meaning, including in its evolutions centered on the continuity of support and in the diversity of needs concerning health, accommodation, housing, training, employment and culture.
Our Federation is fully committed to ensuring that social work is valued, promoted and supported, and that the expertise of professionals is respected and their usefulness recognized.

As an important step in this orientation of the federal project, we are organizing two major national days devoted to social work on September 24 and 25, 2024 in Nancy.  Registration and fees Schedule :

• 09/24: 9am – 8pm
• 09/25: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
