The tribute album to Maurane, Mau d’âmour, was recorded at ICP STUDIOS in Brussels. This 2.0 version of the track Qu’est ce qui te fait peur? was chosen because of its strength and power, and the invitation of guitarist Patrick Deltenre, who accompanied the most beautiful voice of French chanson during her career.

Christel Kern is surrounded by two highly talented musicians and backing singers, Laura Strubel and Caroline Stenger, both conservatory graduates. The album was recorded by Erwin Autrique, Maurane’s former sound engineer. Vocal direction is by Richard Cross, Maurane’s friend and singing teacher.

The song will be broadcast on radio, TV and other media. It will be played during concerts and live performances by Christel Kern, an exceptional singer and performer on social networks. She revisits Maurane’s repertoire in her own way, in her own voice, with singularity and disconcerting sincerity, even if some of the natural similarities in her voice are quite unsettling. The concert is a little musical, between sharing and emotions that carry us towards the inaccessible star.
