Every year, this unique event brings together more than 600 Compagnons from all over France, men and women of all ages, as well as the partners of the Institut de la charpente et de la construction bois, to discuss common and powerful issues linked to their profession and to timber construction. In 2025, the city of Nancy will host this major gathering of Compagnons du Devoir from May 8 to 10.

The annual congress is a key event for the Carpenters’ Guild, and forms part of the cycle of actions undertaken by our trade:
– bringing Guild members together to structure and develop our trade
– developing distance learning
– supporting young people with scholarships
– acquiring the materials needed by young trainees
– involving qualified professionals in training sessions.

From 3:00 pm on May 08 and until 12:00 pm on May 10.
