The Business Tourism Cluster
As part of its economic strategy, Greater Nancy Metropolis has embarked on supporting sectors that have the potential to be competitive at the European and international levels. One of the key sectors identified is Business Tourism. A cluster was thus arranged to link up the range of local stakeholders in this field.
DESTINATION NANCY was designated as a “”natural”” facilitator, given its dual status of developer and unifying body. The cluster’s steering committee is composed of the main sector stakeholders, including Greater Nancy Metropolis, City of Nancy, Nancy Tourism, the Hoteliers’ Club, Lorraine Tourism, the University of Lorraine, Chamber of Commerce & Industry 54 and Scalen Agency. Around this steering committee, socio-professional stakeholders are invited to intervene on specific topics (retailers, caterers, etc.).
